Curriculum
Our curriculum is built upon a strong foundation of educational principles and best practices. It is designed to be rigorous, relevant, and engaging, catering to the diverse needs and interests of our students. We believe in providing a well-rounded education that encompasses academic excellence, character development, and global awareness. We are dedicated to nurturing lifelong learners who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to thrive in a rapidly changing world and contribute positively to society.
At Lakshay International School, our pre-primary curriculum is enriched with the renowned CURIO program. Tailored to the unique needs of our young learners, this structured curriculum nurtures curiosity and inquiry, enhancing their innate abilities. Our purposeful and engaging activities are designed to challenge students while supporting their successful completion of tasks.
As students progress to the primary and middle levels, our curriculum evolves to prioritize academic excellence and skill development. Updated annually to incorporate modern technology and align with CBSE syllabus modifications, our curriculum emphasizes the mastery of essential skills such as communication, organization, and analysis. We are committed to equipping students with the tools they need to excel academically and communicate effectively in English, both in written and spoken forms.
Each student receives a personalized report, with results shared in the report card for parents. We emphasize that grades reflect the entire year’s efforts, not just performance in term exams. Regular work throughout the year is essential for student success. While we do not rank classes, outstanding performance is acknowledged with due recognition for distinction.
1. Classes I to V: Monthly Review Tests assess student progress, with Class I having 4 cycles and Classes II to V having 5 cycles. Students are also evaluated through periodic assessments, assignments, projects, and informal tests.
Promotion Criteria:
To progress to the next grade, students must meet the following criteria:
Achieve a minimum of 40% marks in each subject in periodic and annual exams.
We believe in a well-rounded education that goes beyond academics, encouraging co-curricular activities, sports, and life skills development.
